SPECIAL MEETING OF BARRINGTON MUNICIPAL COUNCIL

March 17, 2008


The meeting was called to order by the Warden at 7:00 p.m., in the Conference Room, in the Administrative Centre, in Barrington, N.S., with the following members present:

- Warden Louise Halliday
- Deputy Warden Eddie Nickerson
- Councillor George El-Jakl
- Councillor Donna LeBlanc-Messenger
- Councillor Wilford Smith
- Councillor Larry Stewart
- Councillor Sean Strang

- Don Harding, Municipal Solicitor
- Brian Holland, Municipal Clerk


PURPOSE OF MEETING

The purpose of this special council meeting was for Council to consult with the Municipal Solicitor regarding the submission of the tenders on the Wood’s Harbour Multi-Purpose Trail. 

Council discussed the matter and the legal issues involved with the Municipal Solicitor and gave the appropriate direction to the Municipal Clerk regarding this matter.
