SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL

The meeting was called to order by the Warden at 7:50 p.m., in the Conference Room, in the Administrative Centre, in Barrington, N.S., with the following members present:
- Warden Louise Halliday
- Deputy Warden Eddie Nickerson
- Councillor George El-Jakl
- Councillor Donna LeBlanc-Messenger
- Councillor Wilford Smith
- Councillor Larry Stewart
- Councillor Sean Strang
- Brian Holland, Municipal Clerk
PURPOSE OF MEETING
The sole purpose of this meeting was to conduct an annual performance evaluation of the Clerk-Treasurer. The meeting was scheduled to be held at 7:00 p.m. Deputy Warden Nickerson and Councillor Strang were called by the Clerk-Treasurer at approximately 7:10 p.m. in order to remind them of the meeting for the performance evaluation.
All seven of the councillors were present for the performance evaluation of the Clerk-Treasurer. Evaluation forms were completed by five (5) of the seven (7) councillors. Councillors El-Jakl and Smith did not complete the evaluation since they were not councillors during the time period covered by the evaluation.
Each of the councillors made comments concerning the various matters covered by the evaluation. Various aspects of the evaluation were discussed with the Clerk-Treasurer during the course of the evening.
At the end of the evening the evaluations were provided to the Clerk-Treasurer for the purpose of making copies for his files, and will be returned to the Warden.
ADJOURNMENT
Having completed the evaluation process, the meeting was adjourned at approximately 10:00 p.m.
