Public Participation Meeting

In accordance with Section 205(4) of the Municipal Government Act and the Public Participation Program Policy of the Municipality of the District of Barrington, the Planning Advisory Committee will hold a Public Participation Meeting to discuss and receive oral and written presentations from the public concerning proposed amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law.
It is proposed that the MPS and LUB be amended to address Cannabis Production and Processing Uses, by Development Agreement, in the Business Park Zone and Rural Development Zone.

Dr. Robyn Pierce will be returning home to establish her family medicine practice in Barrington in July 2019.
She will be accepting new patients from the Barrington and surrounding areas from the Nova Scotia Need a Family Practice Registry.

This position will provide administrative support to Dr. Robyn Pierce at her practice to be established in Barrington Passage, NS and her patients by performing general office duties through the use of electronic medical records and maintaining daily operations by following policies and procedures.
Spring Clean Up 2019

Spring Clean up will start Monday April 15, 2019. Items will be collected on the same day as regular waste. Iems must be placed by roadside not later than 7:00a.m. on Collction Day.
Wood must be tied in budlles. Items must not weigh more than 70 kgs or be longer than 3 meters.
Please ensure items are proplerly prepared for collection, if not they may be rejected.
