The Municipality of Barrington is embarking on an exciting project as part of their Paint the Town Red, Canada 150 Celebrations which will allow us to leave a Canada 150 legacy throughout the Municipality. Part of our Paint the Town Red project will feature 10 unique fiberglass lobster structures measuring approximately 6.5 ft. tall each. Each sculpture is partly sponsored by local businesses or organizations and will be custom designed and hand painted by artists. This public art project will play a significant role to visitors and residents for a unique and memorable experience, as we also showcase our history and heritage which will be showcased on each sculpture.
