Call for Artists - Lobster Sculpture

The Municipality of Barrington is looking for talented local artists to bring a lobster sculpture to life! This sculpture will be a permanent feature at our new Recreation Centre and will celebrate recreation and community spirit.

We want your designs to creatively capture the energy of local sports, outdoor activities, and the ways our community comes together. Whether bold, playful, abstract, or realistic, we’re excited to see your ideas!

Details:

• Theme: Local recreation and community spirit

• Location: New Recreation Centre

• Sculpture Medium: Fibreglass lobster (provided)

• Deadline for Submissions: October 31, 2025

• Honorarium: $1500 plus supplies
