MUNICIPALITY OF BARRINGTON
PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE VACANCIES

The Municipality of Barrington is accepting expressions of interest from individuals from the Municipality wishing to serve on the Planning Advisory Committee.

The Committee advises and assists the Municipal Council in the preparation, amendments or revisions, of the Municipal Planning Strategy, Land Use By-Law, Subdivision By-Law, and on planning matters.

The Committee also acts as the Heritage Advisory Committee for the Municipality.

Appointments will be for a term to expire March 31, 2018. Meetings are scheduled as necessary.

Additional information may be obtained by contacting the Municipal Office. Expressions of interest must be received by the undersigned not later than Monday, February 22, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.

Applications are invited for the position of Returning Officer for the 2016 Municipal and School Board Elections.

Applicants should obtain a copy of the Returning Officer Policy prior to applying for the position.
